# Tihost vs Aeza: VPS comparison of prices, hardware and payment

> **In short:** A 1 vCPU / 2 GB server costs $4.00 a month at Tihost (40 GB NVMe) and €5.93 on the Aeza Shared plan or €8.49 on Dedicated (30 GB NVMe), per Aeza's website on October 5, 2026. Aeza wins on locations (11, including Russia and the US), hourly billing and up to 25 Gbps ports; Tihost wins on price, larger disks, period discounts of up to 20% and Telegram bot management with no KYC.

**Key takeaways:**

- On five comparable VPS configurations the Tihost price is lower: 1 vCPU / 2 GB is $4.00 a month vs €5.93 (Shared) and €8.49 (Dedicated) at Aeza, 4 vCPU / 8 GB is $15.40 vs €23.73 and €33.94, 16 vCPU / 32 GB is $77.50 vs €94.89 and €135.72 (Aeza data as of October 5, 2026).
- Aeza offers VPS in 11 locations, including Moscow, St. Petersburg and Charlotte (US), on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X or 7950X3D CPUs; Tihost operates in three European countries (Germany, Finland, Poland) on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and 9950X.
- Aeza bills by the hour (from €0.04 an hour for 1 vCPU / 2 GB) and gives 5, 9 or 12% off for 3, 6 or 12 months; Tihost sells a server for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months with 10, 15 or 20% off.
- DDoS protection is included in the price at both hosts: at Aeza up to 2 Tbps of coarse scrubbing and up to 600 Gbps of fine filtering according to its website, at Tihost at the network level in all three locations.
- Tihost signs you up with an email, Google or Telegram account with no KYC and manages servers from the web panel, the Telegram bot @tihost_bot and a public API; Aeza has a customer area, a REST API and a Telegram bot, and Aeza's terms allow it to request documents from a customer.

## Which is cheaper, Tihost or Aeza?

On all five comparable configurations the monthly amount at Tihost is lower than at Aeza, even against Aeza's Shared line with shared vCPUs. The currencies differ: Tihost charges in US dollars, Aeza in euros, and the table keeps each price as shown on the provider's site, without conversion. Aeza's prices are the same in most locations and higher in London. Every Tihost configuration by country is in the [plan comparison](https://tihost.io/en/blog/vps-plans-comparison).

| vCPU / RAM | Tihost | Aeza Shared | Aeza Dedicated |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 vCPU / 2 GB | $4.00 - 40 GB NVMe | €5.93 - 30 GB NVMe | €8.49 - 30 GB NVMe |
| 2 vCPU / 4 GB | $7.70 - 80 GB NVMe | €11.87 - 60 GB NVMe | €16.98 - 60 GB NVMe |
| 4 vCPU / 8 GB | $15.40 - 180 GB NVMe | €23.73 - 120 GB NVMe | €33.94 - 120 GB NVMe |
| 8 vCPU / 16 GB | $32.00 - 300 GB NVMe | €47.45 - 240 GB NVMe | €67.86 - 240 GB NVMe |
| 16 vCPU / 32 GB | $77.50 - 450 GB NVMe (Poland) | €94.89 - 480 GB NVMe | €135.72 - 480 GB NVMe |

*Price per month. Compared by the closest configurations: vCPU and RAM match, disk size differs. Tihost - Germany and Finland (16 vCPU / 32 GB is Poland only), Aeza - prices for every location except London.*

Tihost gives more disk on four of the five configurations: for example, 180 GB vs 120 GB on 4 vCPU / 8 GB. On the largest configuration Aeza has the bigger disk - 480 GB vs 450 GB.

## Which CPUs and disks do Tihost and Aeza use?

Both hosts run on desktop-class AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs with a high per-core clock. Tihost uses the Ryzen 9 5950X (Zen 3) in Germany and Finland and the Ryzen 9 9950X (Zen 5) in Poland; the difference is covered in the [CPU comparison](https://tihost.io/en/blog/amd-ryzen-9-5950x-vs-9950x). According to Aeza's website, it runs the Ryzen 9 9950X in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Frankfurt and Charlotte and the Ryzen 9 7950X3D in Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, London and Helsinki, while Stockholm lists the 7950X3D and the Ryzen 5 3600. Both use NVMe disks.

Aeza has two lines: on Shared the cores are shared between virtual machines (RAM and disk are guaranteed), on Dedicated each vCPU gets a full physical core. Aeza also lets you build a custom configuration with sliders for cores, RAM and NVMe size. Tihost has 9 ready-made configurations from 1 vCPU / 2 GB to 16 vCPU / 32 GB.

## Where are Tihost and Aeza servers located?

Aeza covers more geography: 11 VPS locations, including Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg), Western Europe and the US (Charlotte). Tihost runs in three Tier III data centers in Europe - Falkenstein (Germany), Helsinki (Finland) and Warsaw (Poland). For a European audience any of Tihost's three countries works - see the [location guide](https://tihost.io/en/blog/vps-location-choice). If you need a server in Russia or the US, Tihost does not have those countries.

Aeza's website notes that some plans may be temporarily unavailable to order, so check that the plan is available in your location when ordering.

## Network and DDoS protection

For port speed, Aeza lists up to 25 Gbps in its Ryzen 9 9950X locations and up to 1 Gbps elsewhere, with unlimited traffic. Tihost offers 1 Gbps in Germany and Finland and up to 10 Gbps in Poland. Both include DDoS protection in the price: Tihost filters attacks at the network level in every location, while Aeza describes always-on protection with up to 2 Tbps of coarse scrubbing and up to 600 Gbps of fine filtering. Aeza also gives a /48 IPv6 subnet alongside one IPv4 address.

## Can I pay with crypto or a card?

Tihost accepts cryptocurrency (USDT, TON, BTC and other coins via Heleket, CryptoBot and xRocket), an LZT Market balance and Russian bank cards or SBP; fees and steps are in the [crypto payment guide](https://tihost.io/en/blog/pay-vps-with-crypto). Tihost prices are fixed in dollars. Aeza charges in euros; under its terms you can pay by any method listed on its website or in the control panel, and a bank card can be linked for automatic payments. Aeza's public pages (home, plans, data centers, terms) do not list the payment methods, cryptocurrencies included: the current list is shown in the customer area.

## Is verification required?

A Tihost account needs no identity verification (KYC): an email, Google or Telegram account is enough. Aeza signs you up by email; mandatory document checks at sign-up are not described on Aeza's pages, but Aeza's terms (clause 3.5) give it the right to request documents confirming a customer's details and to restrict access if they are not provided.

## Management: panel, Telegram bot and API

Tihost is managed from the web panel, the Telegram bot @tihost_bot, a browser VNC console and a public [API](https://tihost.io/api): the bot lets you order and pay for a server, reboot it, reinstall the OS and renew the rental. API scripts are in the [automation guide](https://tihost.io/en/blog/tihost-api-automation). Aeza has a customer area and a documented REST API, and its website links to the Telegram bot @aeza_bot; what the bot can do is not described on the plans page. Aeza also includes the ispmanager 6 lite panel free for the first month.

## Hourly billing and period discounts

Hourly billing is Aeza's strength: a 1 vCPU / 2 GB Shared server costs €0.04 an hour, so you can take it for a couple of hours to test and delete it. Tihost sells a server for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months and has no hourly billing. In return, Tihost's long-term discounts are larger: 10, 15 and 20% for 3, 6 and 12 months vs 5, 9 and 12% at Aeza. For example, 1 vCPU / 2 GB for a year at Tihost costs $38.40 instead of $48.00.

## When Aeza is the better choice

- You need a server in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg), Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, London, Stockholm or the US - Tihost has none of these locations.
- You need a server for a few hours or days: Aeza's hourly billing from €0.04 an hour beats a monthly rental.
- You need guaranteed dedicated physical cores - the Aeza Dedicated line - or a custom configuration with sliders for cores, RAM and disk; Aeza lets you scale resources up in the panel without moving.
- Up to 25 Gbps ports, a /48 IPv6 subnet or backups, which Aeza offers as an inexpensive two-click option, matter to you.
- You need Arch Linux or Alpine - both are on Aeza's OS list.

## When Tihost is the better choice

- You need a server in Europe for a month or longer and price matters: on comparable configurations Tihost's amount is lower, and a year gives 20% off.
- You want more disk for the same RAM: 40 GB NVMe on 1 vCPU / 2 GB and 180 GB on 4 vCPU / 8 GB.
- You want to manage the server from Telegram: the @tihost_bot bot orders, pays for, reboots and reinstalls a server without opening the website.
- You want an account with no KYC, sign-up via Telegram or Google, and crypto payment through Telegram wallets.
- You need FreeBSD or Oracle Linux - both are on Tihost's OS list.
